Has Varun Dhawan increased his fees?

Varun Dhawan’s latest film Judwaa 2 has entered the Rs 100 crore club within a week of its release. It was a remake of his father David Dhawan’s one of hits from 90’s ,which featured Salman Khan in double role along with Karisma Kapoor and Rambha. According to a buzz post success of his film he has decided to increase his remuneration.

This is what a source has to say about the same, “This is Varun’s eight films to enter in Rs 100 crore clubs. He has delivered back to back hits and feels now is the right time to increase his payments. He believes he has become a bankable star as all the films which he has been associated with have turned out to be successful.”

Judwaa 2 starred Jacqueline Fernandez and Taapsee Pannu and was expected to do well at box office as it released on extended holiday weekend, though it received average reviews. This year too has been successful year for Varun as his previous film Badrinath Ki Dulhania with Alia Bhatt too did well and earned more than Rs. 125 crore in first week of its release. Next year too looks pretty promising for him as he has Sui Dhaga with Anushka Sharma and Soojit Sircar’s October in his kitty.
