Has Konkona Sen Sharma refused to do show on TVF?

Kokana was apparently supposed to do a video for the TVF but decided to cancel it

Konkana Sen Sharma has always been vocal about various issues related to her film and society. The actress recently slammed Censor Board of Film Certification when her film Lipstick Under My Burkha did not get certificate and was banned. Now if sources are to believed then the actress was to do a video for TVF but she rejected it after the recent controversy involving TVF’s head Arunabh Kumar. A source says, “Konkana was going to do a video about her film Lipstick Under My Burkha, it was kind of a promotion for the film. However after Arunabh was accused by some of his ex employees for molesting them, she has backed out of it.”

It is said that the actress is apparently not willing to be associated with the channel anymore. So she will promote her film in a different way, once the makers get the certificate.

Lipstick Under My Burkha is directed by Alankrita Shrivastva, is produced by Prakash Jha. Apart from Konkana, it also stars Ratna Pathak Shah, Aahana Kumrah, Plabita Borthakur .It has been earning lot of appreciations and hounours at different festivals. It is a story of secret lives of four women and their search for freedom.
