Has Karan Johar confirmed Deepika Padukone and Ranbir Kapoor's collaboration once again for Luv Ranjan's film?
Earlier we reported that filmmaker Luv Ranjan has approached Deepika Padukone to play the leading lady of his next directorial film starring Ranbir Kapoor and Ajay Devgn. It happened after Ranbir Kapoor asked the makers to cast some A-list actress opposite him after the grand success of Sanju.
Now there were the reports that Luv approached Deepika Padukone and she has agreed to do this film. However, recently when Deepika Padukone appeared on the show Koffee With Karan, in between the conversation, Karan Johar revealed that Deepika Padukone is once again collaborating with Ranbir Kapoor for another film.
This is the first time Luv Ranjan is going to make any film without Kartik Aaryan as he earlier had made four films and all four films had Kartik Aaryan in the leading role. Luv Rajan in the last gave his career's biggest hit film Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety that entered 100 crore club.
While it is also going to be Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone's fourth collaboration after three hit films Tamasha, Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani, and Bachna Ae Haseeno. Ranbir Kapoor is also working with Ajay Devgn after 8 years as they last worked together in Prakash Jha's film Raajneeti.
