We all thought Bigg Boss 8 would be the last time we saw Salman Khan hosting the popular reality show. Well, the actor is back in news with a bang. Khan, who left Bigg Boss season 8 midway due to professional commitments (prolonged shooting schedule of Bajrangi Bhaijaan in Kashmir), is all set to host season 9 of the reality show.
Salman Khan started with hosting season 4 of Bigg Boss and till date he has hosted 5 seasons of the much-loved reality show. Salman Khan's tremendous connect with the audience is one of the major reasons why the television channel is not ready to replace him.
Last few episodes of Bigg Boss 8 were hosted by Farah Khan, however the director could not match Salman Khan's charm which eventually reflected on the television ratings.
Salman Khan is currently sorting out his calendar for the year and will allot dates to Colors post that. According to reports the actor has verbally agreed to host Bigg Boss Season 9, however he is yet to sign the dotted lines.
According to some reports, Colors approached Akshay Kumar and Ranveer Singh after Salman declined to host season 9, during the end of season 8.
