Gold Box Office Collection Day 1: Akshay Kumar and Mouni Roy starrer film hits ball out of the park; collected this much on opening day
Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar starrer film Gold is in the theatres now as the film had released on 15th August 2018. There were many expectations from this film of Akshay Kumar because of having patriotism in its main centric point. Since the starting of the promotions, Akshay Kumar said that he read the script of Gold more than 10 times and he just loved it.
Now according to the early trends, this sports drama has turned out Akshay Kumar's biggest opening ever in Bollywood. According to the trade analyst Taran Adarsh this sports drama based on hockey collected approx 25.25 crores from the box office on its first day. This is now Akshay Kumar's highest opening grosser ever.

The interesting thing is that this film is also a debut film of Mouni Roy as an actress and with this, she also has got biggest opening ever with her first film. Now she will have to wait to break the record of this box office record till next year on the same weekend her film Brahamstra starring Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt doesn't releases.

The film is directed by Reema Kagti and it also stars Vineet Kumar Singh, Amit Sadh, Kunal Kapoor, Sunny Kaushal, and others in the leading roles. If belief to the reports then the film could earn more than 100 crores in 5 days. It can also turn Akshay Kumar's highest grossing film ever also.
