By now, everyone knows that Shah Rukh Khan will have as many as three releases in 2017. The superstar's three releases next year include, Raees, Imtiaz Ali's next film starring Aunshka Sharma and Aanand L Rai's next film.

SRK's first release in 2017 is crime thriller Raees, where he will essay the character of a bootlegger from Gujarat. The film is directed by Rahul Dholakia and marks the return of Shah Rukh Khan in a negative role after Don 2. Produced by Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani, Raees is confirmed to hit the big screen on 26 January, 2017.

After Raees, SRK will be seen in his romantic avatar for Imtiaz Ali's next film which also stars Anushka Sharma. Said to be a modern love story, the yet untitled film will be shot at Budapest and Punjab. Though the official release date is yet to be announced, the film will in all probability be a post-IPL 2017 release.

The last and final release for Shah Rukh Khan in 2017 is a rather special one. Aanand L Rai's next film is the love story of a little man and the pre-production is currently in full swing. The yet-untitled film will be a VFX-driven film and the shooting will commence in India from December 2016. The movie is confirmed to be a Christmas release next year.

With three films up for release in 2017, it would not be wrong to say that next year belongs to Shah Rukh Khan.
