Exclusive! Rannbhoomi postponed; now Varun Dhawan and Shashank Khaitan to collaborate for a spy thriller

Sui Dhaaga actor Varun Dhawan is really busy in some very interesting and amazing projects. The actor currently being seen in YRF's Sui Dhaaga and his performance was appreciated a lot in this film. After that the actor is going to be seen in a period drama film Kalank starring alongside Alia Bhatt, Madhuri Dixit, Sonakshi Sinha, Sanjay Dutt and Aditya Roy Kapur.

Even after that, he is a part of Remo D'Souza's dance film with Katrina Kaif. Then he is once again collaborating with his father David Dhawan for a No. 1 series. Last year director Shashank Khaitan announced that he is going to collaborate with Varun Dhawan for their third venture Rannbhoomi under Karan Johar.

Now it has come out that Shashank Khaitan's venture Rannbhoomi has been reportedly postponed and now the director is looking forward to a spy thriller film. Even this spy thriller film will have Varun Dhawan in the leading role. It was told that he could be seen playing the role of a raw agent.

The film is expected to go on floors from 2019 and the film takes the place of Rannbhoomi dates and it all because the film Rannbhoomi needs more research and developments. The film is set for the release in 2020.
