Eid belongs to Salman Khan, I would never clash with him, says Karan Johar

Ae Dil Hai Mushkil director Karan Johar believes that Eid belongs to Superstar Salman Khan and he would never clash with the superstar during the coveted release festive release slot.

At the trailer launch event of Badrinath Ki Dulhania, when Karan Johar was asked if he would ever eye the Eid slot for any of his films, he said,

"I would never release any of my films during Eid. I don't want to do that because it is owned by Salman Khan. If Salman and I collaborate on a film, then I would happily arrive on Eid otherwise it is best not to come there. We are here to release films in a manner that we can optimize our numbers as well. We make sure that we come on a day when we can juice maximum business taking in account films releasing around us. It is essential to strategize the release and it is a very critical aspect. It is essential to lock a right date for the film."

Salman Khan has a 100 percent track record at Eid as he has delivered 6 huge blockbusters in the last 7 years during the said period.
