Dragon: Ranbir Kapoor - Alia Bhatt superhero film to go on floors in May 2017
Ranbir Kapoor - Alia Bhatt's much-anticipated superhero film tentatively titled Dragon is set to go on floors in May 2017.
The film, directed by Ayan Mukerji, is based on Indian mythology. As against initial reports of the film being majorly shot abroad, we hear it will be mounted from start to finish in India.
Being a superhero film, the pre-production work is currently in process and the makers are not just finalizing Ranbir Kapoor's look but also planning the visual effects. Though there are reports that even Alia Bhatt will be seen as a female superhero in Dragon, there is no confirmation about the same.
The first of the Dragon Trilogy will be produced by Karan Johar in association with Fox Star Studios. This will be Ranbir Kapoor's third association with Ayan Mukerji after Wake Up Sid and Yeh Jaawani Hai Deewani.
