These days if there are talks about any couple then it is Brahmastra couple Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt who are not dating each other since a year. Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt both are on the top position of their career and both are amazingly talented persons. Although Alia Bhatt is quite younger than Ranbir Kapoor but still they look a good looking cute couple together.

Now besides personal life, Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt are going to be seen in Ayan Mukerji's next directorial venture Brahmastra also starring Amitabh Bachchan. Well, it took a long 7 years for Alia Bhatt to star opposite Ranbir Kapoor in any film and the fans are quite excited for it. But do you know that Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt were supposed to make debut together?

Yes, that's the truth and it won't happen due to several reasons. Actually, when Ranbir Kapoor was assisting Sanjay Leela Bhansali for Black at that time Bhansali decided to launch Ranbir Kapoor as an actor. However, he was working on the scripts and he chose Balika Vadhu to make and he decided to cast a young child for the film. Here he met Alia Bhatt and he decided to launch Alia and Ranbir Kapoor together through the film.

Even Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt had done some photoshoots together and the film was ready to roll but then something happened and Bhansali dropped the idea to make Balika Vadhu. Later Bhansali launched Ranbir Kapoor and his another assistant director Sonam Kapoor together in Saawariya, and after around 6 years later Alia Bhatt made debut with Karan Johar's film Student Of The Year alongside Varun Dhawan and Sidharth Malhotra.
