Coolie No 1 actor Varun Dhawan to provide meals to doctors, medical staff and poor amid COVID-19 lockdown

After Shah Rukh Khan and other entertainment celebs now Coolie No. 1 actor Varun Dhawan has taken step towards helping doctors, medical staff and needy people. As India is battling with a deadly virus named Coronavirus the nation is going through a nation-wide lockdown. So to support the nation Varun has donated 55 lakhs for the PM CARES Fund and CM Relief Fund.

However not just this he has also decided to help needy and those who are risking their lives to save other’s lives. Announcing the same he took to his Instagram handle and his statement read that with the help of Taj Public Service Welfare Trust he is going to distribute meals to the unemployed, doctors and other medical staff.

Well, not just this earlier, just like Kartik Aaryan even Street Dancer 3D actor shared a video on his social media handle to urge people to stay at home. In the video, we see Varun raps and asks people to stop going out or partying and completely resort to social distancing. The video also had few clips from PM Narendra Modi’s speech.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Varun will be seen in David Dhawan’s next Coolie No. 1 alongside Sara Ali Khan which is at the post-production stage. The film was scheduled to release in May however due to COVID-19 all theatres have been closed. So if all goes well the film will release as scheduled or makers will soon make a new announcement.
