Box office: Mubarakan does better business on weekend
Anil and Arjun’s film did well on Sunday
Anil Kapoor and Arjun Kapoor’s film Mubarakan released last week with Madhur Bhandarkar’s Indu Sarkar and Tigmanshu Dhulia’s Raagdesh. The multi starrer Mubarakan was expected do well in box office, but it had a slow opening on first day, the business saw jump on Sunday and it has collected Rs. 22.91 crore.
Indu Sarkar and Raagdesh did not manage to earn good money at box office. Madhur’s film is said to have earned only Rs. 3.39 crore till now and Tigmanshu’s film has collected Rs 0.74 crore.
Lipstick Under My Burkha is still going strong at the box office as the film has collected more than Rs. 14 crore in ten days.
This week Imtiaz Ali’s Jab Harry Met Sejal starring Shah Rukh Khan and Anushka Sharma are set to release with Shanker Raman’s Gurgaon.
