Bobby Darling to wed Ramneek Sharma! Here are some little known facts about the actress

Transwoman actress and Bollywood socialite Bobby Darling is all set to tie the knot with Bhopal based businessman, Ramneek Sharma. According to reports, the duo has decided to opt for a low-key court marriage. However, the wedding reception is expected to be a starry affair, and will be held in both Bhopal and Mumbai.

With a number of Indian films in her kitty - including Taal (1999) and Chalte Chalte (2003) - the actress established herself as a household name with her appearance in the first season of controversial reality TV show Bigg Boss in 2005.

1. Before her transition, she made the Limca Book of Records for doing 18 roles as a gay man by the time she was 23 years old.

2. She won international acclaim by bagging the award for Best Supporting Actor/Actress at the 2005 Monaco International Film Festival, (Monaco) for the Santosh Sivan directorial Navarasa.

3. Born as Pankaj Sharma in Delhi, Bobby Darling had a difficult childhood owing to her family's reluctance to accept her sexuality. She also attempted to run away from home at a young age.

4. She underwent breast implantation surgery in 2010. In 2014, she reportedly decided against genital surgery claiming filmmakers would no longer offer her roles.
