Ranbir - Deepika wrap up shooting for Tamasha, here's all you need to know about the film

Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone wrap up shooting for Imtiaz Ali's unusual love story Tamasha. The film has been in the making since a long time and has been shot in locations like Shimla, Delhi, Corsica and Tokyo.

While the all-important climax of the film is shot in Tokyo during a 7 Day schedule, majority of the film's shooting commenced at Shimla and Delhi. One of the important shooting schedule of the film also took place at Corsica for a period of 20 days.

Tamasha will be Ranbir Kapoor's second outing with Imtiaz Ali after Rockstar and same is the case with Deepika Padukone who was directed by Imtiaz Ali in Love Aaj Kal.

In the film, Ranbir's character is that of a nomad, who likes to go out of the way to please people while Deepika's character is a fan of French Comic series Asterix and Obelix, which takes place in Corsica. The film is all about how the two characters go on an adventurous journey to Corsica and evolve as they grow up.

Earlier Imtiaz Ali had said, "You meet a certain person and you are very enchanted by him. He is free flowing and your type and then you lose touch. Years later when you meet, he is absolutely somebody else."

Tamasha went on floors in July last year, and it took the makers a year to wrap up the shoot for the film. Produced by Sajid Nadiadwala, the film releases on 27 November, 2015.
