Arjun Rampal’s Daddy to clash with Saif Ali Khan’s Kaalakaandi

Both Arjun and Saif’s film will release on same day in September

 Arjun Rampal’s film Daddy, which was to release on July 21 has been pushed ahead by a month. The biopic on infamous don Arun Gawli will release on September 8. The makers have issued an official statement in which Gawali’s daughter has said that she wanted the film to be released late as she is hoping that her father would be out on parole that time and she could show it to him. She also mentioned that she thinks it is auspicious to have to release around Ganesh Festival, a festival dear to her dad.

Last month the makers of Saif Ali Khan starrer Kaalakaandi too announced that their release date will beSeptember 8. Saif’s film is directed by Akshat Verma and stars Kunal Roy Kapoor, Sobhita Dhulipala, Akshay Oberoi, This film has been ready for a while now but apparently it was struggling to find a distributor.

Meanwhile there is one more film that will release on the same week. That is, the Sunny Deol and Bobby Deol starrer Poster Boys This film is a remake of a Marathi film and is directed by Shreyas Talpade, who is also acting in the film.
