Arjun feels that the issue of nepotism was blown out of proportion

Arjun Kapoor has been busy promoting his film Mubarakan these days with his uncle Anil Kapoor, and  Ileana D’ Cruz and Athiya Shetty. The star cast was present for the launch of their latest song The Goggle song recently, during a media interaction when Athiya was asked comment on the nepotism. Arjun chose to reply and said, “I think we have had enough discussion about it. Those who get a chance to do films will only survive if audience like them. So it depends on the audience if they find the actor good they will watch the movies and the person will get work. I have answered this question when I was promoting Half Girlfriend and I guess we have been discussing it for a long time. I appeal to media too to move on from it as lot has already been said.”

The entire debate of nepotism started when Kangana Ranaut accused him of promoting nepotism in the industry. Two of them then engaged in war of words and since then the members of the industry have been asked this question constantly.
