Amy has signed to play the role in the Kannada remake of the film

Kangana Ranaut’s Queen is being made in Kannada and Parul Yadav has started shooting for Kangana’s part Rani in the film a  few days ago. The makers have now signed Amy Jackson to play the second lead which was played by Lisa Haydon in the Hindi film. Amy is said to be going to part of remake of the film in different languages.

The remake is called Butterfly and Parul says,  “I have seen a few of Amy's movies and she is a power packed performer. I look forward to working with her and hope that we create the same magic as Kangana and Lisa. “

The Tamil and Kannada remake of the film is directed by Filmmaker Ramesh Aravind. It was reported that the film was supposed to be made in four south languages. Earlier Tamannah Bhatia and Amala Paul were supposed to play Kanagana’s National Award winning character in Tamil and Malayalam remake and actress Revathy was going to direct it. However, later Tamannah and Revathy said to have quit  the project.  The makers apparently approached Kajal Aggarwal for the Tamil version and Anushka Shetty has said to have refused to be part of the Telugu version.
