After delivering two successful films, Special 26and Baby, Akshay Kumar and Neeraj Pandey are reuniting for yet another film tentatively titled Toilet: Ek Prem Katha. The film will reportedly be inspired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi's Swachh Bharat campaign.
Neeraj, who is also one of the many producers of Akshay Kumar's romantic thriller Rustom, discussed the film's story idea with the star recently and Akshay loved the concept. According to reports, the film will be a satirical take on a serious issue. The superstar has verbally agreed to be a part of the film; however he is yet to officially sign the contract.
The story is written by Ram-Leela fame Garima-Siddhartha and the film is expected to go on floors in the first half of 2017. Before starting the film, Akshay will wrap up shooting for Hera Pheri 3, Jolly LLB 2 and Namaste England.
In the meanwhile, Neeraj Pandey is busy with the post-production of MS: Dhoni Biopic starring Sushant Singh Rajput.
