Ajay Devgn to direct Sons of Sardaar! Movie to go on floors by end of 2017

After Shivaay, Ajay Devgn in set to direct Sons of Sardaar, which is a period drama based on the battle of Saragarhi. In a recent interview with Catch News, he actor confirmed that the movie is being planned on a huge scale and will go on floors by the end of 2017.

"I am planning to direct Sons of Sardaar as well. I have confidence that my film will be a visual spectacle. I think Sons of Sardaar will be much bigger than Shivaay. It will go on floors by end of 2017."

There have been reports about Ajay Degn approaching Salman Khan, Suniel Shetty and Sanjay Dutt to essay pivotal roles in the war film. However the actor denied such speculations and revealed that the film is currently being scripted and a call on the star-cast will be taken once the script is locked.

"There are just names popping out and I am still to decide on the star-cast. Once the work on script is complete, I will approach other actors. But all I can tell you is that it will be a very big film," said Devgn.

The movie will hit the big screen in 2018.
