Ajay Devgn's Shivaay: Vir Das to play a Pakistani computer hacker in the magnum opus

This year will see actor Vir Das essaying a variety of roles, starting from a clownish character in an adult comedy to a man caught up in the 1984 Sikh riots. Now, he will be seen in the suave and dapper role of a Pakistani hacker in Ajay Devgn's directorial venture Shivaay, which releases in Diwali 2016.

According to a source, Vir's role entails a lot of action and he shot for it for over 25 days in the second schedule of the film in Hyderabad. The character he plays also has shades of grey to it.

Speaking to dna, Vir Das confirmed the same,

"Yes, I want to play different roles this year and Shivaay is one of them."

Ajay Devgn is being very secretive about Shivaay and very few details about the movie are known. What we do know however, is that Sayesha Saigal plays AJ's romantic interest Sati while Abigail Eames will play Devgn's daughter.
