Ajay Devgn's 100th film of his career to release in November 2019; read details inside

Post Shivaay, the Golmaal actor Ajay Devgn is busy with his another most anticipated film ever, Taanaji - The Unsung Warrior and the shooting of the film started in September. The interesting thing is that the film is considered as Ajay Devgn's 100th film in his career. The film is a biopic on an unsung warrior of glorious Indian history, Taanaji Malusare who was the soldier of Chhatrapati Shivaji's army.

According to the leading actor Ajay Devgn, the shooting of the film will be wrapped up in May 2019, and it will release in November 2019. Ajay Devgn who is busy promoting the film Total Dhamaal revealed that he will complete the shooting of Taanaji till May 2019. Ajay Devgn revealed that the film will be making after seeing the trend of historical films and that's why he chose to make a film on Taanaji that has not been explored yet.

 

Bhushan Kumar who produced Raid starring Ajay Devgn has for the first time entered in a period film and while talking about the film he said, “Ajay is one of the finest actors that we have today. The intensity that he brings to his performance is unparalleled. After the success of our recent film Raid, I am super excited to be part of a costume drama, a first for our banner T-Series.”

Earlier, Ajay Devgn announced a film on Battle of Saragarhi as Sons of Sardaar, but the film shelved after he heard that Akshay Kumar and Karan Johar are also making a film on the same subject. After that Ajay Devgn announced a film Taanaji and it will be directed by Om Raut.
