Baadshaho: Ajay Devgn, Kareena Kapoor, Vidyut Jammwal, to start shooting in April

Baadshaho marks the return of Ajay Devgn with director Milan Luthria - a long, six years after their last outing, Once Upon A Time in Mumbai.



Initial reports claimed that film was to be a story of a young man from Punjab. However, the cast has confirmed that the film is set around the 1975 National Emergency will be set in Rajasthan. The period drama, is a two-hero project about alpha males and Ajay Devgn and Vidyut Jammwal will play the parallel leads in the film.

Vidyut spoke to Catch about Baadshaho, calling it a typical Milan Luthria film:

"Milan Luthria does not like to make films with a hero and a villain; he loves to direct two hero movies. It is a typical Milan Luthria movie about two alpha male characters. It is a great script".

Speaking about the star cast and shooting schedule of the film, Vidyut Jamwal said:



"I start shooting for the film mid-April. I am very excited to share screen space with Ajay Devgn and Kareena Kapoor."



Baadshaho is set to release on 26 January, 2017 and will clash with Hrithik Roshan's much anticipated film, Kaabil.
