After Sultan, Salman Khan and Ali Abbas Zafar to team up for Atul Agnihotri's next?

After Sultan's success, it seems Salman Khan and Ali Abbas Zafar might team up yet again for an action-comedy film, produced by Atul Agnihotri.

While promoting Sultan, Salman Khan had confirmed that after Tubelight, he will start shooting for Atul Agnihotri's next film, directed by Rajkumar Santoshi. However, as per the buzz, Santoshi is no more a part of the project now as Salman was not satisfied with the script developed by the director.

After reworking it several times, the outcome was the same which prompted Atul to replace Santoshi with Ali Abbas Zafar. As Ali has now completed his three-film contract with YRF, he is open to work with other production houses and like Kabir Khan, the director seems to be in Salman Khan's good books.

Sources suggest that Ali has already started developing the script with his team of writers. Unlike Sultan, it would not be a physically taxing film for Salman as it belongs to the action-comedy genre.

An official announcement about the star-cast and release date will be made once the script is locked. However, industry insiders suggest that Atul Agnihotri is eyeing a Christmas 2017 release for the yet-untitled film.

We tried to get in touch with Atul Agnihotri and Ali Abbas Zafar but the two chose not to respond.
