Did you think that Sultan and Raees were the only two big films clashing at the Bollywood Box Office this year? Think again! While the Sultan-Raees clash runs on the hype surrounding Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan, yet another pair of Bollywood superstars will go head to head at the Box Office this year.
Akshay Kumar's Rustom and Hrithik Roshan's Mohenjo Daro will hit the big screen on 12 August.
While Catch had previously reported that the two films would clash at the Box Office, Mohenjo Daro star Hrithik took to Twitter to confirm the release date. The Bang Bang star said that the shooting of Mohenjo Daro has been completed and announced the release date of the film.
MOHENJO DARO! See u all on 12th AUGUST. Get ready to be transported into a world that time forgot... Love you all— Hrithik Roshan (@iHrithik) April 8, 2016
Rumours were rife that the clash could be averted as the shooting of Mohenjo Daro was expected to be delayed following Hrithik's injury. However, things went as planned, paving the path for the big clash.
Akshay's Rustom is currently on its last shooting schedule. The actor, who is currently shooting for the film in London, had revealed that the shoot will be wrapped by the end of this month.
According to reports, Hera Pheri 3 was also scheduled to hit the screens on 12 August alongside Rustom and Mohenjo Daro. However, with the film being delayed, the third installment of the hit comic franchise will now hit the screens next year.
