During the promotions for Ghayal Once Again, actor-turned-director Sunny Deol had revealed that if the film proved to be successful at the Box Office, he would make sequels to his other super hits from the 1990s.
Now that Ghayal Once Again has managed to leave a mark at Box Office, it seems that Sunny Deol has already started working on the script of his next film. The actor is reportedly working to take forward the story of Damini, where he played the role of a lawyer named Govind.

The actor was quoted by dna as saying:

Recently, I met some lawyer fans who told me over mail about this case which kept getting thrown out again and again but they persisted. I went to meet a couple of them and they were talking about how they didn't give up on the case and finally they did an RTI."
Sunny said he felt that Govind's character was rather relevant in the current scenario - a major reason why he was eager to make a sequel.
"I am just saying this because of the impact that films have on people; sach ke saath hai toh haar nahi manni chahiye. I did that for so many years, and now, I feel vindicated. So yes, I feel that Govind's character can be relevant even today."
