Not many know that actor Shard Kelkar had a substantial contribution in the success of Bahubali: The Beginning, the film that put India on a global map and raked in a whopping Rs 600 crore worldwide.

The actor, who was last seen in Salman Khan's Hero had dubbed in Hindi for actor Prabhas' voice in the first edition of the magnum opus.

And this time as well, he's all set to lend his voice for the character in the film's second installment.

SS Rajamouli's Bahubali: The Conclusion is in its pre-production stages. Talking to the media recently, Kelkar expressed how he just can't wait for the film. He said:

"I'm really looking forward to start dubbing for Bahubali 2. It was an honour to be a part of the first one where I dubbed for Prabhas. It's not every day you get to be part of a project that raked in over Rs 600 crore worldwide."

The actor is also gearing up for the release of his debut Malayalam film, Sardaar Gabbar Singh, alongside actor Pawan Kalyan. Talking about the film, he said:

"I have fans in Hyderabad and Vishakhapatnam, thanks to the popularity I've gained through my Hindi serials which get dubbed into Telugu. My association with Bahubali has also earned me wide recognition. All this, I hope, will work in my favour ahead of the release of Sardaar Gabbar Singh."

In Bollywood, Sharad awaits the release of the film Iradaa, which also stars Arshad Warsi. He was earlier seen in films like Rocky Handsome, Ram Leela, 1920: Evil Returns, amongst others.
