Aamir Khan vs Akshay Kumar: Lal Singh Chaddha and Bachchan Pandey to clash on Christmas 2020
Akshay Kumar has just announced his next biggie, Bachchan Pandey, the film will be directed by Farhad Samji and produced by Sajid Nadiadwala. Akshay Kumar shared the poster of Bachchan Pandey and with that, he also announced the release date of the film. The film is going to release on Christmas 2020 and it will be the second time when Akshay Kumar will be having his film on Christmas.
Now with that announcement, Akshay Kumar has started a new race of clash with superstar Aamir Khan. Actually, Aamir Khan on his birthday announced that he will be playing a leading role in Lal Singh Chadha, a remake of Tom Hanks starrer 'Forrest Gump'. Aamir Khan will be playing Sikh in the film and it will be helmed by Advait Chandan who also directed Secret Superstar.
The interesting thing is like his previous films, this time also Aamir Khan announced his film to release on Christmas weekend. Now, this is interesting as now two films Lal Singh Chadha and Bachchan Pandey will be releasing on the same date. When Aamir Khan is a master of Christmas weekend with blockbusters in his feather-like PK, 3 Idiots, Dhoom 3, and Dangal. While Akshay Kumar is new in the race of Christmas weekend as his first film to release on Christmas weekend will be Good News.
Let us tell you that a few months, ago filmmaker-producer Karan Johar announced that his next film Good News, starring Akshay Kumar, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Diljit Dosanjh and Kiara Advani will release on Christmas. Earlier the date was slated to Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt starrer Brahmastra.
