Aamir Khan may not promote Secret Superstar

Aamir will apparently be unable to promote his next film

 Some time ago Aamir Khan launched the trailer of his film, Secret Superstar. The actor is producing the film and has also acted in it. A source says, “ The film is set to release in Diwali this year, though the story revolves around Zaira Wasim’s character, Aamir’s role too is an important one. So the marketing team had planned some publicity around the actor. However, he may not be able to devote time for publicity as he will be shooting for Thugs of Hindostan at same time. So the team will have to change their plan.”

 Aamir is currently shooting for Thugs of Hindostan in Malta and is required for shoot of the  next schedule around October, with Amitabh Bachchan, Fatima Sana Shaikh and Katrina Kaif. Aamir has a special look for the film, and since he's known to guard his looks zealously, that must be one of the reasons why he doesn't want to be part of the publicity for Secret Superstar. He apparently plays a composer and has an extended cameo in the film.

Secret Superstar is directed by Advait Chandan and is set to have a box office clash with Rohit Shetty’s Golmaal Again on Diwali day.
