Bollywood actor Sanjay Dutt who has announced to take a short break from work due to some health reasons will soon be jetting off to the US for treatment once COVID situation eases. Sanjay’s wife Maanayata and sister Priya will also be going to and from in New York where the actor’s daughter Trishala lives with her grandparents.

For those who don’t know, Trishala is the daughter of Sanjay Dutt and his first wife Richa Sharma. After Richa’s death, Trishala was raised by her maternal grandparents in the US.

According to media reports, Trishala has completed her education in criminal justice and has specialized in forensic science.

Earlier, the 61-year-old actor Sanjay Dutt also revealed that he had invested a lot of time and energy in her daughter’s education and also said that he doesn’t want her daughter to join Bollywood.

However, his daughter had acting dreams. A few people know that Trishala has also dabbled in acting through short-term courses with the Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute in New York.

Earlier on August 8, Sanjay Dutt was hospitalized after he complained of breathlessness. However, he tested negative for coronavirus and was discharged after a two-day stay. Soon, Sanjay Dutt released a statement and said that he will be taking a “short break from work for some medical treatment.”

Later, Sanjay’s wife Maanyata Dutt also issued a statement saying, “I request everyone, with my folded hands, to stop speculating the stage of his illness and let the doctors continue to do their work. We will update you all regularly with his progress."

On the work front, Sanjay Dutt’s recently released film was Sadak 2, which also starrer Alia Bhatt and Aditya Roy Kapoor. The film got released on Disney + Hotstar on August 28, 2020. While his other pending projects are Shamshera, Prithviraj, KGF: Chapter 2, Torbaaz and Bhuj: The Pride Of India.
