Two bears fall into well in Maharashtra; watch their rescue operation amid COVID-19 lockdown

A rescue video of bears has surfaced the Internet in which two bears can be seen inside the well in Maharashtra.

The video was shared by Indian Forest Service officer Susanta Nanda on his official Twitter account on Tuesday.


He wrote, “Amidst the two gloomy news of Corona & Amphan we are navigating here, this cheered my heart. Officials and staff from Salekasa Range, Gondia, Maharashtra rescued two bears that had fallen in wells. All gratitude to these frontline green warriors”

Reportedly, the bears fell into the well accidentally and the rescue team from the Salekasa Range in Gondia came to rescue the animals with the help of a ladder.

In the 41-second video of the rescue mission, the bears were seen climbing out of the well with the help of a ladder.

In no time, the video has gone viral on the micro-blogging site. It has been viewed over 1000 times within an hour of being shared by the IFS officer.
