Video of ‘boy sitting in boiling water’ goes viral

An old video of a child sitting in a pot of boiling water has gone viral on social media. The video has become the topic of discussion among netizens. Many people called it a fake video.
In the 30-second clip, the boy can be calmly sitting with folded hands in a large pot placed on the fire. Despite the high flames, the boy remains unaffected by the heat and the water continues boiling.

The video was shared by a Twitter user Sandeep Bisht along with a caption, “This is 2021 India”

In the video, the onlookers were also looking at him with amusement. Many people were also taking selfies with the child.

The video has garnered over 2.6 million views, 11.6k likes, and 3,379 retweets on the micro-blogging site.

The viral clip also prompted several reactions from Twitterati.

“They are not. They are fooling innocent people. The kadhai is too deep and hollow inside, which prevents water from boiling and there is an air pump installed in front of the boy so the bubble effect is only in front,” a user wrote.

“This is cheating of the highest order..no way that there is no steam being produced or the petals not being disturbed in the pot,” wrote another.

As per reports, the video went viral in 2019 and has now gone viral again on social media.
