The video was shared on Twitter by Indian Revenue Services officer Naveed Trumboo which showed the large glacier sliding on to the highway. The video was recorded from Himachal Pradesh’s Kinnaur district.
In the viral clip, a huge block of snow about 10-feet is moving forward on the road and people were running backward. Tourist was also heard saying go back as the avalanche sliding slowly towards them on the highway.
The video was shared with the caption, “Ever seen the force of a moving glacier in real-time? This is in Tinku nallah near Pooh on NH-5, Kinnaur, HP #ClimateChange is not a distant reality."
As per Naveed, the incident took place in Tinku Nallah, near a town called Pooh on NH-5 in Kinnaur, Himachal Pradesh.
In the video, as the glacier rapidly moving forward, there were several vehicles can also be seen moving back. At the end of the video, a tempo gets stuck between the glaciers because of less space.
The video has left netizens in shock and many were blaming humans for affecting the climate.

Climate change is not a DISTANT but a Reality. Its happening all the time. Its neither new nor will it stop changing with lesser use of Co2. Climate is dynamic. It keeps changing.— J Tandon (@TandonJ) January 14, 2020
People need to be educated about calamities and safety measures so that they can pass it on to kids as well. It’s no brainier to screw yourself for the unseen which most of the tourists in India aren’t prepared to handle. Excitement could be deceptive.— Abhishek Yadav (@abhics04) January 14, 2020
What's this got to do with climate change professor ...— Truth Sabbatical (@truthsabbatical) January 13, 2020
