Dog hanged from electric post, sacrificed to mark RSS leader's death anniversary in Kerala

A dog was reportedly hung to death on a an electric post today in Kannur, Kerala, to mark the first death ceremony of RSS leader, E Manoj.
On 1 September, 2014, 42-year-old RSS leader, E Manoj, was hacked to death in Kannur while he was travelling in his car. He was the Sharirik Sakshan Pramukh of Kannur district.
In 1999, he was accused of a murder attempt on CPI(M) leader P.Jayarajan. A group of assailants had hurled bombs on his car, causing him to lose control and hit an electric pole.
Today, a dog was hung from the same electric pole which the RSS leader's car had hit.
