In a shocking and weird case has come to light from Assam’s Guwahati where the doctor found a mobile charger cord inside the urinary bladder of the man.

Initially, the man tried to mislead the surgeon about his pain in the stomach. The 30-year-old man informed the doctor that he was having stomach aches after he consumed a headphone cable by mistake.

According to Walliul Islam, a consultant surgeon at a private hospital in Guwahati said that the man lied to them as nothing was found inside his gastrointestinal tract after surgery.

But, an X-ray report revealed the truth behind the lie of the man. In the report, the cable of a mobile charger was found in his urinary bladder.

According to the doctor told media on Friday, the man had inserted the mobile charging cord through his penis.

However, the doctor has removed the cord successfully and the patient is recovering, Islam said.

According to the reports in outlookindia.com, "The surgery could have been avoided had the man told the fact. The cord could have been removed via the penile urethra through which he had inserted it," the surgeon said.

Islam also shared his experience about this unusual case on his Facebook page.

He wrote, “Surprises in Surgery! After 25 years of experience in surgery, I continue to be surprised and shocked by instances like this where my intellectual and surgical skills are challenged... A 30-year old man came to me with complaints of abdomen pain and a history of accidental ingestion of headphones. I operated upon him to find nothing in his gastrointestinal tract... But instead discovered a mobile phone charger cord in his urinary bladder ....all of you must have guessed the entry point and route (it entered through his penile urethra to his urinary bladder)... his mental health remains a question... surgery was successful and the patient is recovering... everything is possible on this earth, indeed !"

Reportedly, the man was said to be in the habit of inserting objects through his penis to have sexual pleasure. Scientifically, the act is called urethral masturbation or urethral sounding. In this case, the mobile cord got blodged in the urinary bladder connected to the urethra.

However, the man’s identity was not disclosed by the doctor. the surgery of the man was held at the private hospital as all the government hospitals in Guwahati have been reserved for COVID-19 treatment centres.
