After taking over the telecom sector with their unique and cheap tariff plans, the telecom giant Jio is all set to surprise its customers once again. Soon the company is going to launch the cheapest smartphone in the market.
According to the reports in Spreadtrum (the company makes the internal component for the phone ) the company has started working on the 4G smartphone, the Chief Executive Officer Leo Lee has given this information during his tour to India. As per reports in media in Jio's one crore feature phone the company had used Spreadtrum's chip. While talking about Reliance Jio Lee has told the media that they are working on the low-cost smartphone. However, owned by Mukesh Ambani Reliance Jio had not said anything about the project.
If the reports are to believe then the phone will come with the 4inch screen. The cost of the phone will be pretty low just like the 4G feature phone. The Company can also offer some offers on this phone. Lee also said that they are working with Jio. He further revealed that the company had also supplied chip for Jio's feature phone. Jio's feature phone is world's cheapest phone.
