Engagement with Anushka on 1 Jan, 2017? Nope, says cricket star Virat Kohli
Quashing all reports of his engagement with Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma, cricketer Virat Kohli on Thursday took to Twitter with the following:
"We aren't getting engaged and if we were going to, we wouldn't hide it. Simple... Since news channels cant resist selling false rumours & keeping you confused, we are just ending the confusion."
The cricketer confirmed that the duo is not getting engaged on New Year's Day.
Anushka later retweeted it:

According to media reports, the duo was to get engaged in a star-studded engagement ceremony on 1 January in Narendranagar near Rishikesh. The couple, currently holidaying there, shared several pictures of the vacation on their social media accounts.
The arrival of Amitabh Bachchan, Jaya Bachchan and Anil Ambani further fuelled speculations.

As per reports, the duo visited an ashram at Ambuwala village in Pathri area of Haridwar district on Tuesday.
