Cricket in a wheelchair: The sport with no boundaries

Sport knows no boundaries. And athletic ability should be no limitation for enthusiasts to give it their all on the playing field.

This is what happened when wheelchair-bound sportsmen took to the cricketing pitch in Allahabad.

In the maiden national wheelchair cricket tournament, physically-challenged players enjoyed themselves and gave a great account of their competitive spirit. Three teams were involved in the competition - Delhi, Punjab and Uttar Pradesh.

The tournament was organised by the Trishla Foundation and Viklang Cricket Ekadash at the Government Press Ground in Allahabad.

The first match was played between Uttar Pradesh and Delhi and second between Delhi and Punjab. Delhi won both the matches.
