Ajit Pawar takes oath as Deputy CM in Maharashtra, NCP workers celebrate in Jalgaon

Jalgaon (Maharashtra): After Ajit Pawar took oath as the Deputy Chief Minister of Maharashtra, party workers in Jalgaon celebrated outside the NCP office by bursting crackers and raising slogans in support of Pawar.

Ajit Pawar's Strong Backing in the Legislative Assembly
Ajit Pawar, the newly appointed Deputy Chief Minister of Maharashtra, enjoys the support of more than 40 MLAs in the State Legislative Assembly and over 6 MLCs in the Legislative Council, according to party sources.


Ajit Pawar's Statement on Supporting the Government
Addressing the press, Ajit Pawar stated that the decision to support the Maharashtra government was made after considering various factors at the national level. He emphasized the progress made by the country under Prime Minister Modi and the popularity of PM Modi not only in India but abroad too.

Ajit Pawar's Oath Ceremony
In a surprising turn of events, Ajit Pawar, along with nine MLAs, met Governor Ramesh Bais at Raj Bhawan. Following this meeting, a total of nine NCP leaders, including Pawar, took oath as ministers in the Eknath Shinde-led government. Pawar was subsequently administered the oath as the second Deputy Chief Minister of Maharashtra in the presence of Chief Minister Eknath Shinde.
