A Malaysian Youth and Sports Minister, Khairy Jamaluddin Abu Bakar reached the Cabinet meeting this morning wearing a mismatched pair of socks.

Well, this wasn't a coincidence neither a rush of the hour rather he did it to pay a tribute to World Down Syndrome Day.

He took to his Insta account and wrote, "My mismatched socks today are a tribute to World Down Syndrome Day."

Abu Bakar said that the post was to remember people who can be different but amazing at the same time.

He also shared that his mismatched socks were n honour of his niece Aisha, who has Down Syndrome.

Remembering Aisha, he said that she is not only smart, beautiful, funny but also active. Calling her an inspiration, the minister said, "She is a constant source of inspiration for me to make society more compassionate, to reduce barriers for people with different abilities to reach their full potential and to ensure no child is ever left behind in a dark room, out of sight and out of mind."
