Stunning obituary: Woman's children exact revenge, "World Is A Better Place Without Her"
In an obituary published in Minnesota paper, Redwood Falls Gazette for Kathleen Dehmalow who passed away on May 31 in Springfield says, "This world is a better place without her."
While the obituary started on a good note and seemed to be a harmless one, it developed into nothing but a revenge piece written by her estranged children, Gina and Jay. Apparently, she abandoned her children when she became pregnant from her alleged affair with her husband's brother.
105 words obituary might seem to be a short and simple dedication to the departed soul but it has savage paragraphs.
I wouldn't have paid for that obituary to be in the paper. They should have a celebratory drink that they lived a better life without their uncaring mother.

This obituary should have been rejected by the newspaper. Sadly, it’s more of a negative reflection on the deceased’s adult children than it is of their Mother. When will we learn that when people go low, we should always aim to take the high road.

Intro reads the birth of Kathleen Dehmlow in 1938 but later it said, "In 1962 she became pregnant by her husband's brother Lyle Dehmlow and moved to California," The obituary also reads,"She abandoned her children, Gina and Jay who were then raised by her parents in Clements, Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Schunk."
In the fifth paragraph, they wrote, "She passed away on May 31, 2018, in Springfield and will now face judgement. She will not be missed by Gina and Jay, and they understand that this world is a better place without her."
