Florida student beats teacher after she confiscates his Nintendo switch, video goes viral

A 17-year-old student at a High School in Florida was taken into police custody after a shocking incident happened in the lobby of the school where, he was seen brutally assaulting his teacher after she confiscated his Nintendo Switch.

The video of the incident was shared on twitter and has now gone viral. This has triggered anger amongst the neitizens and has reacted to it.


In the video, the teacher is seen walking outside the lobby with the video game and within a few seconds, a boy comes running only to attack the teacher and thrash her literally which led to her falling unconscious.

According to reports, the Flagler County Sheriffs's Office said that the physical incident happened after the teacher confiscated the students video game during the class.

Netizens were outraged and upset by the incident. One said, "They have no coping skills, because they’ve been given instant gratification tools like smartphones and video games, so they have no patience." while another said that lack of help from anyone is more concerning.

The 17-year-old is seen punching and kicking the teacher until a few groups of people are trying to take the student away and rescue the teacher. It was said that it could have been a homicide and when one pushes another like that and hit you can never know the outcome.

Soon after the teacher was admitted to a hospital and was discharged. She suffered bruises and was badly hurt. The student has been charged with felony aggravated assault with bodily harm as per reports.
