Watch: PM Modi offers prayers at Mahakal Temple in Ujjain
Prime Minister Narendra Modi reached Ujjain on October 11 and performed puja at Lord Mahakal Temple ahead of dedicating the first phase of the 'Shri Mahakal Lok' corridor to the nation.
The Prime Minister attired traditional dhoti and gamcha, entered the sanctum sanctorum of Lord Mahakal Temple and performed the puja. Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan and Union Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia were with him.

Under the project, the temple precinct will be expanded nearly seven times. The total cost of the entire project is around Rs 850 cr.

Earlier in the day, PM Modi laid the foundation stone of various healthcare facilities worth around Rs 1275 crore in Ahmedabad.
