UP: Woman kills 5-year-old nephew for soiling bed
In a shocking incident, a woman allegedly murdered her 5-year-old nephew after he wetted the bed.
The horrifying case was reported in Uttar Pradesh’s Farrukhabad. Reportedly, the incident took place three days ago in New Fauji Colony, Farrukhabad.
The accused woman dumped the body of her nephew inside a 7-foot-deep pit in a jungle, along with the help of her father.
According to timesnownews.com reports, the 5-year-old boy’s mother passed away three years ago and his grandmother also died. The deceased boy was identified as Yash Pratap.
According to The Times of India, Yash had been living with his aunt for the last 7 months as his father wanted him to study with other children in Farrukhabad.
On Monday, Yash’s father approached the cops and filed a missing complaint of his son. He alleged that his son went missing from a fair. The boy reportedly had gone to the fair with his aunt Neeraj.
Police lodged a missing complaint and scanned CCTV footage of the area, TOI reports said.
The deceased’s father, Brijendra Singh told the cops that his sister told him that he went missing but changed her statement the next day. The accused woman also alleged that she locked the boy outside the house after he soiled the bed. She claimed that she
opened the door after 45 minutes.
She further told the cops that she didn’t find Yash when she opened the door.
Police grew suspicious after the woman constantly changed her statement and questioned her.
The woman confessed that she murdered the child after he soiled the bed. She also revealed that she dumped the body inside a pit with the help of her father.
Meanwhile, the woman and her father were booked under relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code (IPC). The autopsy report of the boy revealed that the woman smothered the boy to death and had injury marks on his body.
