UP: Minor girl drugged, gang raped, pushed into adultery; know how she escaped
A horrific incident was reported from Uttar Pradesh's Varanasi where a 15-year-old girl was promised a job at beauty parlour was first drugged, gang-raped and was then pushed into flesh trade in Ramnagar area. The incident came to light on 16th August when the minor girl managed to escape from her captor and approached the police and narrated her ordeal.
The minor girl told the Ramnagar police that she is a native of a village in Mirzapur district's Chunar area. On 15th June, she was brought to Varanasi by a woman from her village at the promise of a job at the beauty parlour. On arriving the woman employed her at the beauty parlour and she joined the work on the first day itself.
However, after working for a fortnight, the owner of the beauty parlour started giving her drugs and sedative pills and pushed him into adultery. She further told the police that the owner of the parlour held her captive in a house in the city's Gola Ghat area. First, she was sexually assaulted by youth and then later a dozen of men raped her. It was on 16th August she mustered the courage and on finding the good opportunity as no one was around she escaped and came straight to the police.
On hearing the girls plight Ramnagar Police brought her home and approached Chunar Police to report the incident the girl told them. Chunar Police told them that they had received a missing complaint on 12th July, following which an FIR was filed.
As per Times Now, the girl in her statement named around 12 people including 3 women, who were involved in exploiting her. The police have booked all the accuse under relevant sections of IPC and POCSO Act. Meanwhile, all the accused have fled the spot and are at large while the manhunt is on to nab them.
