Pune: Man secretly films woman masseur during massage; threatens to upload video on social media

A woman masseur has filed a complaint against a man who allegedly secretly filmed her while she was doing her job. The accused man also demanded sexual favors by blackmailing her.

The woman, who works at a massage parlour in Pune, said in her complaint that a customer secretly recorded the video and then tried to blackmail her for sexual favors. She also added that the man threatened her to upload the video on social media if she denied fulfilling his demands, timesnownews.com reported.

The man identified as Suresh Mahadik went to the Ayurveda massage centre in Pune on Wednesday. The woman masseur was busy doing her job by giving him a massage, but the man has surreptitiously filmed her on his mobile phone.

Later, he blackmailed her with the help of video and demanded sexual favors from her. He also threatened her to upload the video on social media platforms if she refused to do so. The Times of India reported.

After receiving threats from Mahadik, the woman masseur approached the police and lodged a complaint against him, following
which a case was registered.

The accused man was nabbed by police on Friday. He has been booked under Indian Penal Code (IPC) sections 354 C (voyeurism), 354 D (stalking), and 506 (criminal intimidation).  Other relevant charges under Information Technology (IT) have also been slapped on him.
