Men pose as income tax officer; what he does next will shock you!

A shocking case has been reported from Bulandshahr district of Uttar Pradesh where some men posing as income tax officers looted jeweler’s employee of Rs 72 lakh.

Police swung into action after the victim filed the complaint against the accused men.


The victim has been identified as Tanaji Naik, a resident of Sahawar Gate in Kasganj district. According to timesnownews.com, the incident took place under Khurja city police station in Bulandshahr.

According to the victim, he was going to Delhi with his friend to buy jewelry from Delhi’s Chandani Chowk on Monday. Naik told police that he was carrying Rs 72 lakh.

While heading towards Delhi, Naik’s car was overtaken by a white Bolero car near Agarwal Flyover in Khurja. The accused sitting in the car posed as officers from the income tax department, according to Hindi daily Hindustan.

The fraudster asked Naik about papers and the money in them. Reportedly, one of the men took money from the bag and asked Naik to follow them. While following them, the accused fled with the money.

Naik filed a police complaint with Khurja police. According to Khurja SHO Neeraj Kumar Singh, a cheating case has been registered on the basis of the complaint filed by Naik.

Kumar said the case seems to be suspicious. Meanwhile, police have launched an investigation into the matter.
