Man and wife commit a heinous crime before killing woman

In a gruesome incident, a robber allegedly raped a 35-year-old woman after his wife pinned her down. After killing the woman, the couple stole the gold and silver ornaments of the woman.

The incident took place in the Sangareddy district of Telangana. The now-deceased woman was identified as a daily wage labourer. The case came to light when her husband filed a missing complaint with the police on Monday morning.


Reportedly, the victim was missing after she left her house in Mallampet locality to find a job.

However, police launched an investigation to trace the woman.

They scanned CCTV footage and zero in on the accused identified as Swamy (35), a labourer, and his wife Narsamma. Police nabbed the couple for interrogation.

The couple confessed to the crime and revealed a horrific crime story of the missing woman. the 35-year-old woman was raped, robbed, and murdered, according to a report by The Times of India.

According to the police, the now-deceased woman went to the Mallampet labour adda from her house on Sunday morning for some work. She was waiting there when Swamy and Narsamma approached her to hire her for helping them in painting a temple in Jinnaram town.

The accused couple took the woman labourer to a hillock in Jinnaram’s Madaram area. The robber’s wife allegedly pinned the woman to the ground and then Swamy sexually assaulted her. The duo killed the woman and took her ornaments, including two silver anklets and two gold studs.

After committing the heinous crime, they dumped the body between the boulders on the hillock and fled from the spot.

Police sent the body for post-mortem and the case of a missing person was later registered as the case of murder.

Further interrogations of the couple are underway to ascertain whether they commit more such crimes.
