The alleged horrifying act took place at a farmhouse located under the jurisdiction of Shipra police station area of Indore between November 2019 and October 2021, the official said.

The victim, who is a native of Chhattisgarh, tied the knot with the accused, an Indore-based man after meeting him on a matrimonial site. However, the man was already married, the police sub-inspector said.

The complainant told the cops that she somehow managed to run away from the farmhouse and went to her parent's house in Chhattisgarh. But one of the accused men followed her there with a plan to harming her, the police added.
