A cruel father has crossed all of his limits by sexually harassing his daughter at their home. The shocking incident came to light on Tuesday when the 13-year-old girl approached her mother and revealed her ordeal. Later, they lodged a complaint against her husband about the man.

Police have arrested the accused from Shivaji Nagar on Wednesday.

The minor girl narrated the gut-wrenching incident to her mother after she (mother) returned at their home from work. She alleged that her father used to rape her in mother’s absence at knifepoint. He also warned the girl about dire consequences.

The girl also alleged that her father used to insist that she sleep next to him. After being tired of his father’s sexual harassment, the girl gained the courage to open everything about the incident.

She told her mother that her father had raped her on multiple occasions, timesnownews.com reports said. She also added that he used to hold her at knifepoint and also threatened to kill her. Reports also revealed that the man used to consume marijuana before raping the girl.

“She said that he used to consume marijuana (ganja) and then rape her after placing a knife against her neck. She had requested him to stop several times but he threatened to kill her,” the victim’s mother told police.

The girl alleged that the man threatened her that he would injure her younger brother if she told anyone about the abuse. The victim also claimed that she was confined to her home by her father.

Meanwhile, the accused has been booked under Section 6 (aggravated penetrative sexual assault) of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act and Section 506 (criminal intimidation) of the Indian Penal Code (IPC).
