At approximately 72 hours following the killing of a realtor in Kanpur, a 25-year-old man working at a liquor serviing shop was thrashed to death by intoxicated customers. The horrifying episode was recorded on CCTV installed in the shop.

The unfortunate incident took place just half a kilometer away from the police station at Gorakhpur’s Ramgarhtaal area. Interestingly, the Kanpur realtor murder also took place in the area falling under the jurisdiction of the same police station.

The victim, identified as Manish Prajapati was a resident of Madhya Pradesh and was employed at this model shop for a few months. Earlier (On Thursday), a couple of men came into this model shop and ordered some drinks. It is stated that the customers got angry over the delay in order and they indulged in a verbal spat with Manish.

The argument soon turned into an ugly fight and the customers allegedly thrashed Manish and another worker Raghu.

The attack went on for over 15 minutes. It is also said that the customers called a few more associates who also joined the assault.

By the time cops came in, all attackers escaped. Both injured individuals were rushed to a hospital where Manish was declared dead on arrival. Raghu is still admitted in the hospital where his condition is said to be dire.
